And you can count for how long I've being learning it.... I also studied it at school (36) and had a tutor since 2nd form... and also had a big practice with native speakers... (want more? ask me questions)

| Quote (Embroider) all i'll say: I gonna improve my knowledge of english further) where r u going 2 do it? as 4 me, I consider the best way is conversations with native speakers, but 1st u have to know some bases of language, rn't u? and there is also one disadvantage if u have verbal conversation - that's what I faced with - horrible accent, espetially AMERICAN . Sure anyone is a personality with its own pros and cons but this makes real stamp on style of speaking and articulation of speaker..... due to this all the time u have to ask to repeat once again, couze it's impossible to understand smth . Sometimes it realy irritates!!!! particulary if u look stupid due to this )))))))))

| Quote (Pendragon) horrible accent, espetially AMERICAN mmmm..... I can say that from the age of 9 I was a translator in children summer camps. Every year several girls from America came to Lugansk and worked in the summer camp I went to. And even though my knowledge of english was much worse then it is now, I was one of those who could communicate with the girls free... Actually there were two of us who translated all the lessons that girls led: Me(in the group of smaller children) and my friend Lisa, few years older(in the oder group) we both studied in the 36 school))) Later I went to other english camps, some were specialised - we had about 2 hours of english studies every day and our teachers were native speakers from England, Schotland, Wales, Canada, Australia, America... I can't say I had problems with understanding tham...

| Yea, ENG and AM ENG are very different. I saw a situation, when a guy from Ireland said something to an american. And american asked him: "Where are U from?" =) Maybe it's like ukranian and belorussian. You can talk to each other, but you can't speak on a foreign language..
